Flash and Blowdown

Wessels' Blowdown tanks are manufactured to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 standards. Designed to 125 psi. The function of a blowdown tank is to allow undesirable discharge from the boiler to be discharged directly out of the system. The vessels are manufactured in over 40 sizes based on inlet/outlet and venting design requirements. The vessels are engineered for steam systems from 20 to 800 psi., and pressure ratings to 300 psig.
