Plate and Frame Heat Exchangers
WesPlate® Heat Exchanger
The WesPlate® Heat Exchanger consists of a frame built in accordance with ASME boiler and pressure code and following the general design parameters of AHRI construction. A series of corrugated stainless steel plates are designed to maximize turbulence and heat transfer. Gaskets are fixed between the plates to contain two separate fluids that flow alternatively to produce the highest rate of heat transfer.
Wesplate® Heat Exchangers transfer heat from a building’s primary heating or cooling loop to a secondary loop. The heat exchanger can separate two systems that have very different operating pressures, operating fluids, (i.e. glycols, potable water, etc.) operating temperatures and cleanliness issues.
